RADIUS is currently seeking a Case Writer to develop Indigenous Business Case Studies for RADIUS and the Beedie School of Business’ entrepreneurial and business programs, respectively. This unique and timely project will bring the age-old practice of storytelling to the business education context; with a goal of decolonizing the traditional business case study model. This position will be responsible for building relationships with Indigenous business owners, hearing their stories and writing the cases utilizing Indigenous research methodology. This role will be guided by work in close collaboration with a team of Indigenous professionals/academics; final deliverables will be co-written and/or co-edited by the team. The work will include flexible hours with regular team meetings, check-ins, some scheduled interviews with Indigenous entrepreneurs and others, and ad-hoc team communication. As this project centres Indigenous voices, business stories, and Indigenous research methodology, we strongly encourage Indigenous students to apply for the role.
This position will be recompensed at a rate of $25/hr up to 800 hours between November 2020 and end of March 2021.
